What Princess actually does
Princess is a Tier 4 Academy class at 10,000 Cores. Like every class in the game, it hands you starter gear (Princess Staff, Princess Armor Set) and then scales through four levels - three personal upgrades and a team bonus at the end.
The Level 1 passive is the identity: Start with the Princess Staff and 1,000 Coins. Everything after that builds on the same idea rather than switching lanes.
Level by level
| Level | Unlock | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10,000 Cores | Start with the Princess Staff and 1,000 Coins |
| 2 | Class level requirement | Princess Staff slowly heals teammates in range; gain 5% of ally Money Bags |
| 3 | Class level requirement | Gems sell for +50% Coins |
| 4 | Career total depth gate | Every player starts with 500 Coins (team bonus) |
Level 4 is the team bonus - it applies to the whole 30-player server and gates on career total depth, not on anything you do in one run.
Is Princess worth 10,000 Cores?
Princess sits in the mid-tier band, which is usually the best value in the Academy: expensive enough to matter, cheap enough to reach without a dedicated grind. If its passive matches your bottleneck, it is a reasonable buy before any Tier 5.
Where it fits in a team
The team bonus is what makes Princess show up in multiplayer lobbies: Every player starts with 500 Coins. In a 30-player server that is a bonus nobody has to spend their own Cores on, which is why team-first classes get picked even by players who main something else.
The Coin and Core economy is covered in the get-cores guide.
If you have not settled your first purchases yet, the all classes page has every Core price, and the best classes tier list explains where Princess lands against the rest of the roster.
